DESTANATION TECH

DestaNation Tech is an employability and entrepreneurship program at DESTA which aims to address and help participants overcome employment barriers faced by English-speaking Black youth in Montreal. The program includes Skills Training Workshops, Job Placement Services, Entrepreneurial Support, Networking Events and more.

Skills training and mentorship

Participants will receive skills training and mentorship in one or more of four key areas: web development, graphic design, digital marketing and business development. Upon completion of each training, successful participants will have the opportunity to work on contracts procured by DESTA through an internship with our in-house DestaNation Consulting Agency. In this way, participants can gain real experience, build their portfolio and earn money with the possibility to grow, evolve and build a career with the agency. Participants who successfully complete the program will also have access to entry-level jobs in the Tech field and through DESTA’s employability program will receive support in Job search, CV and interview prep.
