Reentry Services are available for individuals currently incarcerated and preparing for release, transitional housing, or who have a history of criminal justice involvement.
Working with DESTA’s Support Services team, participants discuss and assess their employment, educational, and personal goals to create an Individualized Service Plan (ISP). The participant’s ISP respects Correctional and Release Plans and any conditions they may specify.
DESTA’s personal support and culturally-specific programming aims to assist Black men and women in their successful community reintegration. Support Services also aids in referrals to external resources and agencies, while providing advocacy, counseling, and accompaniment where necessary.
Reentry & Support Services are available to Desta participants involved in current programs.
DESTA is and official member of the Association des services de réhabilitation sociale du Québec (ASRSQ)
