DESTA Black Youth Network offers skills training workshops, career guidance, CV prep, job and internship placement services in a range of fields and disciplines.
DESTA offers a culturally-relevant workforce development program for individuals with little-to-no work experience or who have been away from the labour force for some time. Employability and soft skills workshops are offered alongside individual employment counseling. DESTA also provides temporary work placement and on-site paid training.
Thanks to the generosity of individual donors, eligible DESTA participants can apply for the Espoir Fund. The Espoir Fund provides loans or bursaries for vocational training.
Services offered through the DESTA Black Youth Network Employability Program include:

- Interview prep
- Mentorship in various professional fields
- Networking Opportunities
